Have you noticed how car audio electronics are getting more and more advanced? I mean years ago you were lucky to have an 8 track music system in your car.... yeah I know that was a long time ago lol but hey some of us still remember those days.
Just think what you can have in your car now..... the mind boggles. I mean sophisticated music machines come as standard with CD players being overtaken by MP3 players, DVD in car entertainment, TV screens on the back of the car seats to keep the kids occupied on those long journey's.
Then you have GPS systems that can even talk to you, warning you about road hazards up ahead and giving you alternative routes to avoid them..... jeeze we are living in such a technically advanced world it can sometimes take your breath away.
We really have come a long way in car electronics but what about car fuel efficiency do you think the auto industry are really giving us what we need? i.e. cars that run for longer yet use less fuel.
I doubt it...... I mean the less fuel we have to buy to run our cars and trucks the less money the oil companies make. So it makes sense for them to make us beleive that a car that can do 30 - 35 miles per gallon is fantastic but what if we could get 50 -60 miles per gallon from a regular car then wouldn't that be more acceptible..... your bet it would.
